Booklet: Guidelines for a Public Gold Policy in Bolivia

05 December 2025

This new booklet, entitled "Guidelines for a Public Gold Policy in Bolivia", was prepared by the Center for Studies for Labor and Agrarian Development (CEDLA) as a result of more than two years of research, documentary analysis, previous studies and dialogue with both key actors in the mining sector and communities affected by gold exploitation in the Amazon as well as with expert mining professionals.

The publication is developed within the framework of CEDLA's participation in the Fair Finance International Bolivia coalition, an initiative that promotes more responsible investment practices, with the support of Oxfam in Bolivia and SIDA.

Its purpose is to contribute elements to transform the current model of gold exploitation in Bolivia and to promote constructive dialogue aimed at ensuring that gold wealth benefits present and future generations.
